RDG is excited to add Brent Jonas and Ellie Dunavant to our team!
Brent comes to us after most recently serving as COO of Sustain SC. He also had a seven-year career as Director of Stakeholder Relations at the Charleston Regional Development Alliance (CRDA), where he built and strengthened relationships with existing and potential investors, regional stakeholders, and other local community leaders. He also led CRDA’s efforts in development of the One Region Roadmap and companion Innovation and Economic Cluster strategies. Brent received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Presbyterian College and his Master of Public Administration from the University of South Carolina. He resides in Charleston, South Carolina and has two children.
“RDG has had the opportunity to work closely with Brent on several occasions while running fundraising campaigns for CRDA. He will be a natural fit with our team and our clients will benefit greatly from his experience working with one of the most successful economic development organizations in the country”, said RDG CEO, Clint Nessmith.
Ellie comes to RDG from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), where she spent almost three-years focusing on Partnership and Membership Development. Prior to joining ACCE, Ellie worked at the Cherokee Office of Economic Development, in Woodstock, Georgia, where her duties included managing investor relations, programs, and events. Ellie received her Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Mercer University. She resides in Columbus, Georgia with her husband.
“We engaged with Ellie repeatedly as she managed our sponsorship of ACCE and were continuously impressed with her professionalism, organizational skills, and knowledge of the Chamber industry. Inviting Ellie to join our team was a no-brainer!”, said RDG COO, Matt Chambers.
